Who can get Food Stamps?
You may be able to get
Food Stamps (a Quest card) to help you pay for groceries if
you are a U.S. citizen or qualifying alien, AND:
You or someone living
with you is getting help from a W-2 agency, is in Children
First or Kinship Care, is getting help from the County to
pay for child care, OR everyone in your household is receiving
SSI,
OR
Your family has less
than $2,000 in savings ($3,000 if one of you is disabled or 60 or older)
and makes less each month than the amount in this chart:
