Can you get help because you’re a veteran? How can you find out?

You may be able to get veterans health care if all the following are true:

You were in the service at least 2 years (if you got out before September 1980, it doesn’t matter how long you served)
You left with an honorable discharge
If you were in the National Guard or Reserves, you served all your time when called up for active duty

To find out for sure if you can get help and to apply, call (800) 827-1000 and talk to them about Form 10-10EZ.
