What is Head Start?

Head Start is a free child care and education program for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds from low-income families.

There are many different Head Start programs in Milwaukee. Some are half-day (sometimes with extra child care provided), and some are full-day. Some run only during the school year, and some go all year long.
