Who
can get help paying for child care?
You
can probably get the State of Wisconsin to help you pay for
child care if all of the following are true:
- You
are a U.S. citizen or qualifying alien
- The
kids for whom you want help are not older than 12 (or, if
they have “special needs”, they are not older than 18)
- You
work
*** It counts as working if one of the following is
true:
-
You are younger than 20 and in high school or a GED
program
- You
are in a W-2 or Food Stamp employment program
- Your
family makes less each month than the amount in this
chart
If you
think you’re eligible, find out how
much help you may be able to get.
